Two people were killed in a fire at a spa in Noida Sec 53

According to authorities, two employees of a spa centre in Sector 53 died in a fire that broke out on the premises on Thursday evening. The spa had been closed for some time due to pandemic-related restrictions, according to police, and the two had come in to clean it.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajneesh Verma claimed there was one more person in the spa who narrowly escaped death, but he wouldn’t say who it was.

Around 5.30 p.m., a fire broke out on the premises of Jacuzzi Spa Centre in Ashirwad Complex, Sector 53, according to Gyan Singh, station house officer, Sector 24 police station. “Two staff, a guy and a woman, had arrived to clean the premises. The fire appears to have started as a result of a short circuit and quickly spread. “The two people were unable to flee and perished,” he claimed.

Three fire tenders were utilised to put out the fire when a police squad and firefighters arrived on the scene.

The deceased male was recognised as Ankush Anand, a resident of Noida Sector 135, and the woman was identified as Radha Chaudhary. They stated that they were attempting to contact the families of the deceased.
